Queridos bonjour,

Back from Venice Biennale …

Enjoy !!!

Hi guys,

Today’s post is about art, while I warm up for a very glamours week here in Cannes I could not help to post this poetic visual diary from Philippe on the Venice Biennale.

The Venice Biennale is the largest manifestation of contemporary art in the world and takes place from May 9 until 22 November 2015. It’s a sort of Olympics Games of art, where each country has a pavilion which sets out its best talents, all gathered around a theme. This year the theme was Africa, vintage, natural, recycling, and all art in its raw state with engaged political views on violence and freedom. An endless inspiration that will certainly influence fashion and design, stay tuned.

More about the Biennale here.

And speaking of fashion? The director Philippe Chalem, who was there at the Preview (a week before the official opening the Biennal opens only for guests: collectors, artists, gallery owners and cool people). He made for me this visual diary, showing some of the vernissagens and parties at this magical and mysterious environment that is Venice. And his conclusion: they wear Prada, Céline or something that looks like that. This strange reflection on fashion with always intriguing images of the universe of these two brands find in artsy women a perfect dialogue. Enjoy !!!

Kisses from Cannes !!
